About the Role
Yonyou MEA is looking for a seasoned Back Office Operations Manager to build and lead the operational backbone of our Middle East and Africa region. This is a senior, cross-functional role covering Finance, HR, Admin, and Sales Operations — sitting at the heart of our regional growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Compliance
- Manage daily back-office functions across Finance, HR, Admin, and Sales Operations for the MEA region
- Establish standardized processes for multi-country business environments
- Ensure local policies align with Yonyou global standards while complying with local labor laws, tax regulations, and data protection rule
Finance & Budget Management
- Lead regional budgeting, cost control, expense review, and financial statement analysis
- Manage local bank accounts, tax filings, and audits
- Mitigate cross-border fund and currency risks in coordination with global finance teams
HR & Administration
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle — onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, performance management, visa and work permits — for a multinational team
- Manage office premises, fixed assets, vendor contracts, and travel arrangements
Systems & Process Optimization
- Drive adoption of Yonyou’s own management software across back-office functions
- Identify operational pain points and implement tools to reduce cross-border collaboration costs
HQ & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the primary interface between the MEA region and global functions (Finance, HR, IT, Legal)
- Support Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success teams with back-office needs
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, HR Management, or a related field
- 5+ years in back-office operations management, including at least 3 years in a regional overseas role (Middle East or Africa preferred)
- Fluent in English and Chinese (working languages); Arabic is a strong advantage
- Familiar with labor laws, tax regulations, and company registration in at least two MEA countries
- Solid grasp of financial concepts — P&L, cash flow, and budget management
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills across time zones, countries, and cultural customs
- Willingness to travel moderately (Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Kenya, etc.)
Bonus Points
- Experience with Chinese multinational subsidiaries or global IT/cloud companies
- PMP, SHRM, or local HR certifications
- Already based in or willing to relocate to Dubai
